A 39-year-old man, originally from Senegal and a resident of Bergara for several years, died early Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in the town. “It has been a very hard blow for all of us,” the Ndank Ndank association, made up of Senegalese and Basque families and with which the deceased had a long-standing relationship, told this newspaper.
