The approval of the two new royal decrees-laws of housing has provoked reactions this Tuesday between the real estate sector, construction, trade unions and consumer organizations. While idealist and the National Confederation of Construction (CNC) warn that greater intervention can further reduce the supply, CCOO, UGT and ASUFIN value much of the measures, although they demand to deepen in some of them.
The two royal decrees on housing approved by the Council of Ministers this Tuesday include several measures that benefit tenants and the incorporation of housing into the residential market. They also include protection against evictions, the prohibition of speculative purchases from investment funds and the regulation of seasonal and room rentals.
