The Public Prosecutor's Office requested the imposition of 18 months of pretrial detention, as a coercive measure, against the eleven police officers charged with the crimes of association of criminals and voluntary homicide to the detriment of the five men who fell on the afternoon of September 10 in a commercial square in La Barranquita, Santiago.
The Public Ministry filed on Thursday afternoon the request for a coercive measure for 11 police officers linked to the death of five people in an alleged exchange of gunfire that occurred last month in the La Barranquita sector, southwest of Santiago. The deposit was made before the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention of Santiago. Now, the parties in the process are waiting for the court to set the date and time for the hearing.
