Two former ministers are in the crosshairs of the Prosecutor General's Office: the authority is going after the biggest criminals so far.
The prosecution has initiated a request to the Parliament to suspend the immunity of the Prime Minister and two other members of Parliament.
The Deputy Prosecutor General has proposed the suspension of the immunity of three members of parliament – Péter Magyar, Miklós Seszták and Balázs Hankó. If the Parliament approves the prosecutor's requests, criminal proceedings against the politicians for theft, bribery and mismanagement may be initiated or continued, Telex reported.
Hankó could be put on the bench due to the NKA case, Sesztó's name came up in the Volánbusz case, and Magyar would be investigated for phone theft after his five-night party in 2024.
