Prime Minister Donald Tusk has issued a direct appeal to Karol Nawrocki on social media, demanding he sign a bill imposing a tax on fuel company windfall profits. The head of state's signature is intended to enable the launch of a cheaper fueling program; however, the Presidential Palace is pushing its own, competing solution.
"So, are we making these cheaper fuels?" — this is how Prime Minister Donald Tusk addressed President Karol Nawrocki on Saturday morning. "We're waiting for the signature," he added, referring to the bill on the so-called windfall tax, which has already been sent to the president.
