The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the period of legal residence of foreigners and stateless persons who are defenders of Ukraine. The government has approved a draft law on the protection of foreigners and stateless persons who served in the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The period of residence after the contract will be increased to six months.
This was announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky. According to him, the draft law provides that foreigners and stateless persons after the completion of the military contract will have more time to settle their legal status. “The project provides for an increase in the period of legal temporary residence in Ukraine from three to six months,” Koretsky wrote.
