Gold industry expects price rise to $5,013 an ounce over 12 months
Gold prices are set to soar to $5,013 per ounce in the next year, while silver is expected to jump from $61 to $97 per ounce. In addition, LBMA officials foresee platinum prices climbing to $1,914 an ounce and palladium rising to $1,415. This outlook occurs against a backdrop of rising interest rate worries and geopolitical strains that continue to shape the market landscape.
In 2025, 64% were fired, which was their largest annual increase since 1979, and reached a historic peak of $5,595 an ounce in January.
The London Association of Precious Metals (LBMA) made such projections.
