President Karol Nawrocki signed three bills into law. However, the President's Office admitted that one of them is not free from controversy.
Three more bills have landed on the president's desk – the proposed changes would apply, among other things, to firefighters (volunteers). It's already known whether Nawrocki has picked up a pen.
Among the bills that received the president's approval is the one implementing the Basel III standards. "A safe banking system requires appropriate safeguards against excessive risk," Karol Nawrocki points out. He also admits that it contains controversial provisions.
