Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that an agreement had been reached with Oman regarding the transit route through the Strait of Hormuz. Pezeshkian stated that the Strait could be opened if the US fulfills its obligations under the memorandum of understanding signed on June 17th with Pakistan as a mediator.
