Lavish recoveries, including designer handbags and premium watches, from a sprawling bungalow in Lucknow have drawn attention to the Enforcement Directorate’s probe into an illegal codeine-laced cough syrup racket. The bungalow belongs to dismissed police constable Alok Pratap Singh, who was arrested earlier this month.
When the ED team arrived to investigate the residence of Alok Singh, a constable dismissed from the Special Task Force (STF) for illegal cough syrup trafficking and smuggling, they were astonished to see the palatial mansion.
