Knicks Appear on 'Tonight Show' as Jimmy Fallon Raises Championship Memento to Rafters
Fallon’s appearance follows a viral courtside shoe bit that linked his custom Air Jordan 1s to the Knicks’ playoff run.
On Monday, the 2026 NBA champion New York Knicks appeared on The Tonight Show, with Jalen Brunson bringing the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy to celebrate their first title in 53 years.
Defeating the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5, the Knicks secured their historic championship as iconic fan Spike Lee introduced the roster to a raucous audience of supporters.
During the show, host Jimmy Fallon and Knicks starter Josh Hart revisited their viral shoe-untying ritual with custom Air Jordan 1s; Hart signed the sneaker, which Fallon raised to the rafters of 30 Rock.
Karl-Anthony Towns carried the trophy to the audience and told them to "Get a touch," while head coach Mike Brown revealed his postseason "Who let the dogs out" chant originated from coaching youth football.
New York City will host a ticker-tape parade on Thursday, June 18, beginning at Battery Park, following the team's appearances on The Tonight Show and TODAY earlier this week.
