Odds Of a Fed Rate Hike Climbed After Hotter-Than-Expected Core Inflation. Stocks Climbed Anyway.
The S&P 500, Dow and Nasdaq advanced as traders priced in an 86.3% chance of a rate hike after core inflation rose 0.3%, the CME Group said.
