The 28th term of the Turkish Grand National Assembly will begin its fifth legislative year on October 1st. Members of Parliament from the NEW Party will attend the special session in the General Assembly but will not be present at the evening's opening reception.
New Party MPs will meet in Ankara on October 1-2, before the new legislative year, under the chairmanship of General President Özgür Özgür Özel. During the meetings, field studies in 81 provinces will be evaluated, while presentations will be made on the topics of economy, foreign policy and national security.
