The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which adjourned after the framework law passed on August 10, is convening today for the new legislative year. The Assembly will open with a special session, and its first official work will begin on Tuesday, October 6.
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey will convene under the chairmanship of Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş to mark the beginning of the 5th legislative year of the 28th term. Kurtulmuş will lay a wreath and host a reception; throughout the day, data from the Central Bank, Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK), and Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) will be monitored, along with preparations for TEKNOFEST and the national football match.
TBMM started after going on vacation on August 10, and maintenance and repair work is ongoing in some parts. Final preparations have been made for tomorrow's special session at the General Assembly. After the formation of the NEW PARTY, the rooms in the corridor where the CHP group was located in the TBMM were also reorganized.
