‘The Lost Boys’ and ‘Schmigadoon!’ earn 12 Tony nominations each to lead the field
On Tuesday, Tony winner Darren Criss and Tony nominee Uzo Aduba announced the 79th Annual Tony Awards nominations, revealing the best of Broadway's 2025-2026 season across multiple categories.
This season featured just 30 eligible works, a significant decrease from last year's total of 42 and the lowest total since Broadway returned in 2022 after the COVID lockdown.
Hollywood stars received nods, including Daniel Radcliffe for Every Brilliant Thing, Rose Byrne for Fallen Angels, and John Lithgow for Giant, alongside Nathan Lane and Carrie Coon.
The ceremony will return to New York City's Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7, with Pink making her hosting debut for the first time.
Viewers can watch live on the CBS Television Network or stream on Paramount+ starting at 8 p.m. ET, as the industry celebrates theater's biggest night.
