Lexus ending production of LC 500 in August 2026
Pour one out for the Lexus LC, one of the last mainstays in the shrinking but tremendous segment of luxurious personal coupes powered by a V8 engine. According to a report that first appeared on Reddit – and was apparently later confirmed by Lexus USA – the brand will wind down production of the model later this year. Its final assembly run is expected to happen in August 2026, at which point Lexus will sunset the two-door vehicle.
