Three regional allies have joined Poland in placing an order for several thousand worst-case air defence systems manufactured in Poland – the largest such contract in history. The order is worth 1.9 billion euros for thousands of worst-case air defence systems, TVPWorld reports.

The Polish company Mesko signed a framework agreement for the production and delivery of Piorun systems. Polish weapons have also been purchased by the armies of allied countries.
This is the largest order for this system in history. Polish Pioruns are becoming one of the country's most valuable exports.
The Armament Agency has signed a framework agreement for the delivery of several thousand portable Piorun anti-aircraft systems. These systems will be co-financed by the SAFE (Security Action for Europe) program.
