Russian citizens have been approved at least 90 per cent less than in the same period of last year since the beginning of the year.
The number of multiple Schengen visas issued to Russian citizens in the first months of 2026 decreased by 90 per cent compared with the same period in 2025, as reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, particularly in connection with the decision of the European Commission last November to restrict the issuance of Schengen multiple visas to Russians.
