According to the Central Bank of Turkey's (TCMB) September Household Expectations Survey, the expected annual inflation rate 12 months ahead rose by 0.02 percentage points to 45.60 percent. Participants reported experiencing the largest price increases in food and fuel/energy over the past year; they expect increases in these groups in the next 12 months as well.

Household expectations for annual inflation 12 months ahead rose to 45.60%, while the dollar/TL exchange rate expectation increased by 1.43 TL in one month to 55.90 TL. Gold's share in investment preferences increased to 43%, while the expected annual increase in housing prices decreased to 30.69%.

When participants' investment preferences were evaluated, the percentage of participants who said "I would buy gold," which was the most common investment, increased by 1.7 percentage points compared to the previous month, reaching 43.0 percent.
