The Industry Group and Kiosk Association to Showcase Next-Gen Restaurant Automation and Accessibility at 2026 NRA Show
The exhibit will feature AI ordering, accessibility tools and Intel-powered edge systems as restaurant operators seek integrated digitization, organizers said.
The Industry Group and the Kiosk Association announced a comprehensive technology showcase for the National Restaurant Show, held May 16–19 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Restaurant operators are shifting from isolated kiosks toward unified operating systems, said Craig Keefner, Chief Editor for The Industry Group, addressing labor pressures and infrastructure-level digitization demands.
Intel-Powered edge infrastructure will anchor the exhibit, featuring Pyramid Computer self-order kiosks and URway natural-language voice ordering using Core Ultra processors to handle real-time AI workloads.
Vispero will demonstrate JAWS for Kiosk screen-reading technology supporting blind and low-vision guests, while MyCheckr displays AI-based age verification for automated restricted-item sales compliance.
Throughout the show, Craig Keefner and technical experts will host in-person strategy sessions providing guidance on ADA accessibility and infrastructure security for national rollouts.
