On Anant Chaturdashi, the final day of Ganeshotsav, Lalbaugcha Raja’s idol leaves the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal in Mumbai for its traditional immersion procession, as devotees bid farewell to Lord Ganesha amid chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”
The immersion procession of the King of Lalbagh in 2026 is turning out to be an unforgettable event for the devotees. The pavilion was decorated with a gold-plated idol of over 20 feet in height and an attractive Shiva Shankar theme. Lakhs of devotees from across the country and abroad had thronged to have a glimpse of the King, where the experience of devotion was expressed through their eyes.
Mumbai Lalbaugcha Raja Visarjan: The royal immersion procession of Lalbaugcha Raja will begin on Friday afternoon. After a 22-hour journey and a Mumbai Police salute, the immersion will take place at Girgaon Chowpatty on Saturday morning.
