The Hungarian state has acquired a 10 percent stake in Richter after taking over the entire share package of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) Foundation. The transaction is a consequence of the termination of public interest asset management foundations (KEKVAs) at the end of August, which will return significant assets, including a dividend due of approximately 12 billion forints, to the budget, Portfolio reported.

The Hungarian state again has a 10 percent vote in the pharmaceutical manufacturer. The amount of the company's dividend for this year on MCC's (former) shares will also land in the Treasury.
