Prime Minister Péter Magyar identified the settlement of Budapest's finances, the preservation of its operational capacity, and the establishment of a partnership with the capital and its districts as the most important goals, speaking after Thursday's session of the Metropolitan Public Development Council.
The head of the capital is out of the water. At least for a while. The mayors of the districts are not happy.
According to Dávid Vitézy, the 120 billion forint state aid will end Budapest's near-bankruptcy period. From 2027, transportation, parking and the financing of the capital may also undergo significant changes.
