The decision was announced a few days ago, but ended this morning following the publication of the decree in the Official Gazette. The measure also establishes a differentiated regime for each province that will visit the high pontiff.
The measure was officialized by Decree 1103/2026, published this Monday in the Official Gazette.In parallel, a special unit was created to coordinate the organization, logistics and security of the official visit of the pontiff.
