The French Navy, First Operator of the Airbus Aliaca Vertical Take-Off and Landing Drone

Since the summer of 2023, it has also been deployed from the French coast for search and rescue missions on the Channel of La Mancha. The take-off and vertical landing version will operate on other types of French Navy ships to carry out various missions: maintaining tactical situational awareness, combating illegal activities, monitoring traffic and the coast, search and rescue, and detection of suspicious behaviors.
