A historian at Cardiff University has just published a volume about the history of Muslims in Wales, one of the first volumes to focus directly on the history of the religion in Wales. The intention of Abdul-Azim Ahmed, who teaches Welsh and is the deputy director of the Center for the Study of Islam in the United Kingdom, was to present their history by looking at nine specific places in his book Muslim Wales - A History in 9 Places.
