The EU, as part of the 20th package of anti-Russian sanctions, has used for the first time in its history a mechanism to counter their circumvention through a third country, as mentioned in a press release on the EU Council's website, Kyrgyzstan, to which it is now prohibited to supply any machine with a numerical software management (PCU) or radio equipment if there is a "high risk of re-export" to Russia.
