According to architects, developers and city leaders, the former tallest residential building in the Czech Republic has a happier era ahead of it. The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone marked the beginning of the reconstruction of the skyscraper that has stood opposite Ostrava's New Town Hall since 1968. The transformation was designed by renowned architect Eva Jiřičná.
