MTV is finally putting an end to traditional music channels. What we're left with: the memories of Britney, Madonna, and the like.
At the end of the year, the US parent company Paramount Skydance will shut down the international MTV music channels. "MTV was so powerful that it defined youth culture," says James Hyman, who produced dance shows for MTV Europe in the 1990s.
