This year, Kashmir hasn't seen any snow, and it's cold, but bears can't hibernate. Hungry Himalayan black bears are escaping the forests and entering villages and cities. A record 50 bears were captured in November. Global warming has altered the climate. As food in the forests dwindles, bears are moving into human settlements. Now, Srinagar is also becoming a new habitat for bears.
