- Players are bonding in shared spaces including fire pits and meal areas; Dolphins tackle Patrick Paul said, "I think it'll give us time to bond more on a personal level." Coach Hafley noted players spend extended time together, even playing cards at 8 o'clock.
- The Dolphins are avoiding cross-country travel by adjusting their training schedule to remain in a consistent time zone. Hafley noted the practice format mostly remains consistent with Miami Gardens routines, combining walkthrough and practice together on location.
- Quarterback Malik Willis emphasized the need to eliminate critical errors, saying, "We got to do a better job executing what were being asked to do." Willis noted the running game is crucial against the experienced 49ers front.
