The huge historical complex in a lucrative location in Prague's Karlín, which is located in the immediate vicinity of Florence, will get a new look no earlier than 2032. City councilors have approved the project preparations for the reconstruction. In the first phase, after the completion of construction work, shops and services are to operate on the ground floor.
The historic Karlín Barracks complex is undergoing extensive reconstruction. Prague councilors have approved the start of project preparation for the renovation of the main building, which should offer new spaces for the public, services, culture, offices and housing in the future.
