The cancellation of work on the Vulcanist–Chisinau electricity line postponed the repayment of a new tranche of the Growth Plan for the Republic of Moldova, funded by the EU, recognized Finance Minister Victoria Belous on Wednesday evening at Reality TV. The work, which was to be completed in December 2025, was postponed until 27 August 2026 due to delays at Chisinau Electricity Station.
