In the context of the commemoration of the attacks of 11 September 2001 in the United States, Cuba's president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, recalled that the Caribbean island has been the target of such actions for more than 60 years and now faces a "genocidal plan" to surrender for hunger to the people.
