Meanwhile, the ruling coalition is preparing for another battle over the Tribunal. There are rumors, among other things, that police might enter the Constitutional Tribunal building.
The Constitutional Tribunal has indefinitely adjourned a hearing on a motion filed by Law and Justice (PiS) MPs challenging the Sejm's procedure for electing Constitutional Tribunal judges. It will also request President Karol Nawrocki to submit a written statement by April 17.
After hearing the parties' arguments, Constitutional Tribunal President Bogdan Święczkowski announced an indefinite adjournment of the case. The Tribunal will request the President to submit his opinion on the matter.
