The nuclear engineering company Blykalla is today submitting its second application to the government to build a new nuclear power plant. The application concerns up to eight lead-cooled reactors in the municipality of Tierp.
The company Blykalla has applied to build eight smaller nuclear reactors north of Tierp. The plant is expected to have a total output of 440 megawatts and be ready in the first half of the 2030s if it passes all the tests.
