The Batman Part II’s Sebastian Stan on Going From MCU to DC. With Scarlett Johansson
While promoting his new movie Fjord at the Toronto International Film Festival, actor Sebastian Stan discussed transitioning from the Marvel cinematic franchise to the DCU for The Batman Part II.
Director Matt Reeves has spent three years shaping the anticipated sequel to the 2022 blockbuster, which features Robert Pattinson reprising his role as Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, ahead of its February 18, 2028, theatrical release.
The ensemble cast sees the return of Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as The Penguin, while rumors suggest Stan may portray villain Victor Zsasz.
When asked about reuniting with Scarlett Johansson, who appeared as Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow in the MCU, Stan added, "I really enjoyed working with her, and I'd worked with her on anything, so it's a nice continuation."
While early reports suggest the plot focuses on Gotham City during the winter season, fans should take rumors regarding the cast's specific character roles with a grain of salt until official updates emerge.
