GLEN ROSE — Josh Beaty, area field representative for the Texas Farm Bureau, addressed the Glen Rose Somervell County Chamber of Commerce luncheon last week at Double S Ranch, offering an in-depth look at the organization’s mission, programs and impact on agriculture across the state. Founded in 1933, Beaty explained that the Texas Farm Bureau is a grassroots, membership-driven organization representing more than 500,000 families statewide.
