Tax increase, budget approved by Council
Following adoption of an ordinance for the 2025-26 budget, the tax increase reflected in it was ratified by the Schulenburg City Council at last week’s meeting. CityAdministrator Tami Walker read the ordinance for the budget, which noted that a required public hearing was held and it would become effective with approval from the Council for the upcoming fiscal year, which starts on Oct.
