Monochrome, Good Smile Unveil Ignisphere Mixed Media Project, Along With Project's Dawngazer Action RPG
Takafumi Noma directs the first Ignisphere title, while Good Smile Company will publish the game and handle merchandising for the new franchise.
- On Friday, Monochrome Corp. and Good Smile Company announced a new mixed media IP titled Ignisphere, with the first title, an action RPG called Dawngazer, directed by Takafumi Noma.
- Noma, who served as director and character designer for Unicorn Overlord, now helms the Dawngazer project at Ignisphere Studio, with Good Smile Company serving as publisher.
- Composer Yoshimi KudM created the soundtrack, featuring vocals by KOCHO, SAK, and Maki Takimoto, alongside cello arrangements by Wataru Mukai showcased in the official teaser video.
- Good Smile Company will manage merchandising for Ignisphere, while the franchise has "multiple" light novel projects in development under Kadokawa's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint within the Kadokawa Group.
- Dawngazer is scheduled for release in 2028 on Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Steam, supporting Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.
