Taiwan leader says two nuclear power plants 'meet conditions' to restart

President Lai Ching-te stated on the 22nd that in the face of factors such as continued economic development and geopolitics, the government proposed restarting the nuclear power plants based on public opinion. However, the restart of the second and third nuclear power plants will only proceed under the three principles of "nuclear safety, a solution to nuclear decommissioning, and social consensus."
