Syrax from House of the Dragon soars above Tower of London

Today, an eight-meter Syrax dragon model flew over The Tower, London, marking the season 3 launch of House of the Dragon on HBO Max.
German firm Airstage built the 13kg model over three months, dedicating nearly 3,000 hours to perfect its lifelike motion using 23 moving parts.
PinPepAnna Kimber OBE, deputy governor of The Tower, linked the display to the venue's history, noting the series explores themes of power and ambition echoing The Tower's dramatic past.
Stars Kieran Bew, Tom Bennett, Clinton Liberty, and Abubakar Salim attended a reception hosted by Harriet Rose, playing Dragon Riders recruited by Rhaenyra in the series.
The eight-episode season premieres today with weekly releases on HBO Max, concluding on the 9th of August. This prequel to Game of Thrones details the story of House Targaryen.
