On Saturday, Jacques Moretti, the co-owner of the Le Constellation bar, who during the New Year's celebrations was set on fire after the use of fireworks inside, left 40 people dead and 116 injured.Moretti, who had been in pretrial detention since 9 January, was released by the Sion Coercive Measures Court on a bond of 200,000 francs, equivalent to more than 200 million Chilean pesos.
The bar's owners are being investigated on suspicion of manslaughter, among other charges, for the fire that killed forty people.
