Sweet treats: Caldwell captures silver in gingerbread comp

Millbridge Elementary student Callie Caldwell won second place in the National Gingerbread House Competition, with her creation, “I Spy Gingerbread Candy Factory.” The contest was held at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville last month. Caldwell has entered the contes before, including last year when entries were donated to help the area in the wake of Hurricane Helene.
