After more than 40 years without new reactors, Sweden has taken a concrete step towards more nuclear power. Vattenfall has chosen British Rolls-Royce as the supplier of three SMR reactors at Ringhals. Together, they will produce around 12 terawatt hours of electricity per year, corresponding to just over seven percent of Sweden's electricity production today.
