SUV runs over employee’s foot as would-be robbers flee N. Hollywood smoke shop

An SUV driver ran over an employee’s foot after a foiled attempt to rob a smoke shop in North Hollywood Friday night, the Los  Angeles Police Department said. The attempted robbery occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Cahuenga Boulevard. An unknown number of people entered the smoke shop and attempted to rob it before being chased out by an employee, police said.
