A male student was arrested after stabbing a female classmate multiple times in a targeted attack, with police confirming no ongoing threat to the San Ysidro High School campus.
- On 12/10/25, San Ysidro High School reported a female student was stabbed at about 9 a.m. on campus at 5353 Airway Road and a student suspect was taken into custody.
- Police described the assault as a targeted attack while authorities have not released a motive or explained the relationship between the male student and female student.
- Officers arrived within minutes and began clearing the campus during the search, using campus cameras to locate the suspect who had a knife and clothing linked to the attack.
- The injured female student was taken by ambulance to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and San Ysidro High School lifted the lockdown as instruction resumed with parents able to pick up students at the school library.
