The picture has changed: Almost two decades ago, Berlin was still regarded by many Germans as a fascinating metropolis – at least according to the survey. In the meantime, the capital seems to be considerably less popular.

According to a new survey by the Allensbach Institute for Public Opinion Research, Berlin has lost much of its appeal for Germans. This was reported by the "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" (Friday edition).
