- A lower court previously dismissed the case, granting qualified immunity to Cuomo and his former secretary, as well as the DOH commissioner, finding no legal wrongdoing.
- Responding to the decision, Spokesperson Rich Azzopardi called the legal challenges politicized, asserting every investigation has concluded there was no wrongdoing by the administration.
