Supermicro Expands NVIDIA Blackwell Portfolio with New 4U and 2-OU (OCP) Liquid-Cooled NVIDIA HGX B300 Solutions Ready for High-Volume Shipment
Supermicro’s liquid-cooled NVIDIA HGX B300 systems deliver up to 144 GPUs per rack and up to 40% power savings for hyperscale AI deployments, enhancing energy efficiency and performance density.
- Supermicro announced on Dec. 9, 2025, shipment of new 4U and 2-OU liquid-cooled NVIDIA HGX B300 systems from San Jose, with `our new liquid-cooled NVIDIA HGX B300 systems deliver the performance density and energy efficiency that hyperscalers and AI factories need today`, said Charles Liang.
- Amid surging AI demand, Super Micro Computer, Inc. designed its Data Center Building Block Solutions to meet hyperscalers and AI factories' TCO, serviceability, and efficiency requirements.
- The new systems combine advanced cooling with modular design, using DLC-2 direct liquid-cooling, rack-scale blind-mate manifold connections, and modular GPU/CPU tray architecture in the 4U Front I/O HGX B300 Liquid-Cooled System housing eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs with 2.1TB of HBM3e GPU memory.
- The systems arrive NVIDIA-Certified and prevalidated for AI software integration, and Supermicro will ship fully validated L11 and L12 racks ready for hyperscale, boosting cluster throughput up to 800Gb/s.
- Combined rack units form a SuperCluster scalable unit with 1,152 GPUs, while DLC-2 technology enables 45°C warm water operation and up to 40 percent power savings.
